It’s been a few months since I updated the blog – here’s me and Sophie having a swing in our local park. Always great to spend some time together, and she’s growing into a clever little girl. Making cakes and loving her reading books and spending lots of time outdoors.

Sly doesn’t want to get his feet wet today…
The building work on our house is finished for now, and we have a jukebox in the corner of the room so we can listen to fabby music all day long, when not at work. Alan retired this year, so it’s smashing to enjoy long walks in the afternoons together.

A quiet moment before we walk a bit further.
Now today it’s snowing and the scenery looks great. Funny how everything looks different coverd in snow and so glad it’s a day when I don’t have to go out to work.

A couple of fun pics to finish with, and enjoy the festive season spending time with loved ones – More blogging news soon, I’m off to edit the last chapter of my latest pocket novel, more news on that later.

Wondered why you had been quiet recently. I’m a new grandma, and loving it. My hubby retired a few months ago, and is setting about redecorating the whole house!
Some lovely memories here Susan. I tend to follow you more on Facebook these days as I have been having trouble with my Google account and I cancelled my WordPress blog, so this might not post!
That’s why I haven’t blogged, Maggie. It’s quicker to use facebook isn’t it? I do like to keep up with the blog though, but haven’t had time lately.
Congratulations, Ruth on becoming a Grandma, it’s nice isn’t it to have a little person to chat to? And good to get a new house as well.
Great pictures, Suzy – especially the swing one. Looks like you’re having great fun.
It was fun, Patsy. And Sophie was having a great time as well.
Lovely to see you posting again, Suzy – I wondered if i’d missed any! Glad you’re having such a lovely time with the wee one – that’s why we’re enjoying being nearer our granddaughter and I’ll get to see her in her first nativity play. Have a wonderful Christmas. x
Hi, Rosemary, oh I love a nativity play and remember once, when Joseph knocked on the door and asked if there was any room at the Inn, a little lad said, “Yes, come in.” So that would be a completely different story:)) Have a great Christmas.
Pleased things are going well for you, Suzy. Where has the year gone? We decided to move house – from the flatlands of Cambridgeshire to hills ‘oop North’ – but let down twice by buyers changing their minds at last minute. Aargh! Hoping for better luck next year 🙂
Oh, that’s a surprise, thought you were settled in Norfolk. Oop North is fab as well though so good luck with your move. xx
Wondered where you’d got to! Your granddaughter is such a cutie 😀
Hello, Wendy, yes she is, and growing quickly as well. xx
