Words with Jam.

While you’re enjoying your Easter eggs, have a look at the new edition of Words with Jam.  My article is on page 18.  There’s a swear word in there, so if you don’t like that kind of thing don’t look.  It’s all in the best possible taste though.

  1. Nice article. My mother-in-law had an interesting way with words. She had a friend who suffered from ‘pernickety anaemia’ for which she had been prescribed ‘wolverine’, and another friend who was ‘two-double’ with backache. But her ‘piece of resistance’ was surely her epithet for anyone annoying: ‘Eh, he’s a bugger up the back!’
